Frequently Asked Questions

  • As a venue we have accessible facilities suitable for wheelchair users including a ramp entrance, accessible toilet, lift, ramp access to the theatre as well as a viewing platform for wheelchair users.

We have a single disabled bay outside the building but we cannot guarantee this will be free at the time of your arrival. Outside of this, the surrounding streets offer a number of free parking zones amongst resident permit holder spots. However, this is often limited during event hours due to the number of attendees at our events, so we would suggest arriving as early as possible to avoid disappointment. We advise where possible to use taxi services or public transport, as we cannot guarantee the number of individuals that will drive and subsequently limit spaces.

Carer tickets are available for those who meet the requirements. If you do require a carer ticket, or an accessibility ticket please get in touch with out main ticket provider via email (customerservices@gigantic.com) so we can respond to any additional requirements needed.

  • As we are situated in a residential area, there is no dedicated venue parking. Street parking in the area is limited, and to respect our neighbours, we advise where possible you take public transport, or get a taxi to the venue to avoid taking up local residents spaces around the area. If you do need to park on one of our neighbouring streets please check that the space is non-permitted to avoid a possible fine. We cannot be held responsible for any parking tickets.

When there's an event on at the Gate, vehicle traffic in the area can get busy so we suggest you plan ahead and do not drive to the venue unless it is extremity necessary, or you have accessibility needs.
